This includes, among other things, the IP address of the device used to carry out the visit, information about the type of browser, the Internet service provider and the management system used, which digital offers have been consulted with us, reference pages / output, the time and duration of the visit.

The collection and processing of this information is carried out for the purpose of enabling the use of our web pages (launching of the link), guaranteeing and increasing the security and stability of our systems and offers, analysing the use of our offers and services, collecting general demographic information and enabling the optimisation of our Internet offers (in particular, but not limited to, product improvements, marketing measures, targeted advertising, etc.), as well as for internal statistical purposes. No user identification takes place in this context. Likewise, no connection is established in principle between this automatically collected information and the personal data stored with us. However, an exception to this basic rule may apply if you already have a registered user account on one of our portals. With regard to the processing of personal data of registered users, you will find further detailed information in the following points 1.b and 1.c.

If you send a message to a third party (e.g. an advertiser) via a corresponding function of our portal, it can be saved by us. You can also take advantage of free services on our portal. We may use any personal data that you may have disclosed to us via a free service or by message (e-mail address, telephone number, etc.) [for example] for marketing and analysis purposes. The information you publish on our portal may be published by us on other platforms and media (e.g. newspapers) and may be adapted as necessary.

when registering a user account
For personalized services, for areas with protected access, or for the processing of requests and the administration of your subscriptions, it may be necessary to register and consequently open a user account. In this case, certain personal data must be entered; this concerns, for example:

⦁ your e-mail address, which can also serve as your username,

and, where appropriate, depending on the context and the supply, additional information such as

In addition to the information marked as mandatory for the use of a given digital offer, you may voluntarily enter and save additional personal data.

We use the data for the execution and administration of our digital offers, for checking the plausibility of the data entered, i.e. for the conclusion, setting of the content, execution and modification of the contractual relations concluded with you via your user account, and, in the case of fee-based services, for the correct invoicing.

If you post contributions (comments, photos, videos, etc.) via the corresponding functions of our portals to share with other users, they may be published by us and consequently made accessible to the public; this also applies to your user name or any nickname you have chosen for this purpose. We would like to point out that, once published on the Internet, these data may still be retrieved by third parties, for example by means of search engines, even in the event of a cancellation or anonymisation ordered by you or by us.

By confirming your registration to collect or change your user account data at the end of the registration process, you guarantee the correctness of the content of the data you have registered.

when using a portal as a registered user

When registered users use the portal, we collect data for statistical reasons, to enable the undisturbed functionality of the portal, as well as for the analysis, optimization and customization of the use of our offers and services. We thus collect data to find out if, and how, you are using our digital offers, in particular which functions and which advertisements you receive, and in what way. Find out more about the processing of such personal data below in section 1.d, as well as in section 4.

Insofar as you use our portal as a registered user, statistical data may be visible to other registered users and may be recorded and analysed by us.

when you make a purchase / purchase a paid service

When you purchase a product or service for a fee on our website, it is mandatory to enter data such as your first and last name, address (full postal address, postcode, location) and any other data, as we require these data for the execution of the contract with you. If you choose an online payment option, such as credit card, PostFinance or PayPal, when purchasing a product or a paid service, payment is made via the online payment system of the respective provider. The processing of personal and payment data in this case takes place directly through the provider of the respective payment system. We do not know or save your payment details. The data protection provisions of the respective provider of the online payment system also apply in each case.

Insofar as you are registered and have a user account, we can save your data in the user account for the next purchase/for the next conclusion of a contract.

In any case, we store all information about your current and past purchases as well as the conclusion of contracts, i.e. the products, services, number of products and services for each purchase and the amount of payment. We are authorized to use this information for marketing and analysis purposes.

when participating in prize games or competitions (events)

We use the data you provide for the organisation and running of events, as well as to notify and/or publish winners on our portals, by direct notice or on social networks. If you have given us permission to do so, we may use your data in accordance with points 2 and 4 and also transmit it in accordance with point 3.

in the case of user surveys and market research

We use the information you provide exclusively to improve the user experience and to further develop our products. The results consist exclusively of aggregated and anonymous data. If you have consented, you may also be contacted to participate in other user surveys.

Direct marketing and online advertising

By registering or ordering as a guest on one of our portals, we can also use your personal data for personalized advertising measures. Transmission of data to third parties

We work with other companies or persons, or commission other companies or persons, to process and store data. They may receive access to your personal or usage data, but only to the extent that they are necessary for the performance of their duties.

If we advance a service, for example in the case of a purchase against invoice, in order to guarantee our legitimate interests we collect, where appropriate, information regarding creditworthiness, on the basis of mathematical-statistical operations, from an information agency. To this end, we pass on to an information agency the personal data that is necessary for the verification of creditworthiness and use the information received regarding the statistical probability of a loss of payment to decide on the conclusion, execution or termination of the contractual relationship.

The information on creditworthiness may contain probabilistic values (score values), which have been calculated on the basis of scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical operations and in the calculation of which, among other things, the delivery data are included. Your interests worthy of protection are taken into account in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Processing of your personal data for marketing and analysis purposes

The companies linked to the portal, have the aim of continuously improving the digital offers presented to her and to structure them in a way that is more and more commensurate with the need and more secure.

In this regard, through the use of various analysis tools, historical and future user-specific data can be continuously associated with each other, which we have, and can be continuously analyzed, aggregated, pseudonymized and anonymized usage behavior at the level of all offers. We may use publicly available data or data from third-party providers to improve our databases.
